Will there be both a physical event and a virtual event in 2021?

No.

  • In 2021, CheeseExpo Global Online will take place April 6-8, 2021 and will be a virtual event.
  • In 2022, CheeseExpo will take place April 12-14, 2022 at the Wisconsin Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
When will the next in-person CheeseExpo take place?

In 2022 CheeseExpo will take place in Milwaukee at the Wisconsin Center April 12-14, 2022.

How can I access the virtual event from my phone?

Registrants can access the virtual event from their desktop or from their phone or tablet.

When can I sign up to attend?

Attendees can sign up now!  Click here for complete information. 

Is there a discount if I register early?

Yes. 

  1. Attendees can save $100 by registering to attend by February 1, 2021.  
  2. Attendees can save $50 by registering to attend by March 1, 2021.
How do I know which category to select to begin my registration?

Attendees will identify themselves in one of the following categories:

Dairy Processor Member / Dairy Processor Nonmember

A dairy processor is one of the following: a firm engaged in converting milk and milk components into natural dairy products; or a firm engaged in producing processed cheese types; or a firm engaged in converting cheese into other dairy products, or engaged in processing whey.  A firm that markets cheese, purchases or brokers cheese, or distributes cheese as its primary business is also a Dairy Processor.

Virtual Exhibitor                                                                                                                        

A virtual exhibitor is any employee of a virtual exhibiting company at 2021 CheeseExpo Global Online.  All virtual exhibitor personnel will need to register as an attendee to receive access to CheeseExpo Global Online.

WCMA Member Supplier

A supplier company makes equipment, or provides a service or product of any type to the cheese industry.  Each attendee providing goods or services to the industry (a “supplier”) must be a member of Wisconsin Cheese Makers Association to participate in any part of CheeseExpo Global Online. 

Government & Academia

Government & Academia registration is for attendees employed in an educational or a government facility, or attendees that are current students at an educational facility.

What if I need to cancel my attendee registration?

Any registration canceled on or prior to March 30, 2021 will receive a 75% refund. No refunds will be issued after March 30.

When will I receive access to CheeseExpo Global Online’s virtual platform?

On March 23, 2021, registered attendees will receive an email with credentials for log into CheeseExpo Global Online’s virtual platform.  This will allow attendees to set up their account before the CheeseExpo Global Online begins on April 6.

 

Exhibitors

When can I sign up to exhibit?

Sign up for virtual exhibit space opens on December 1, 2020 and closes on March 12, 2021.

Is there priority level signup? Is there a specific time that I need to login to signup for an exhibit space?

There is not a priority level for purchasing a booth; all booths will be visible at the same level.

All WCMA Member companies can sign up at any time beginning December 1, 2020 and ending March 12, 2021.

How much does it cost to exhibit?

A virtual exhibit booth is $1,700.

Does our company have to be a member of Wisconsin Cheese Makers Association in order to exhibit?

Yes.  All exhibitors do need to be current members of Wisconsin Cheese Makers Association.  If you have questions about your membership, please contact Judy Keller.

When will I have access to the virtual platform to begin customizing my virtual exhibit space?

Exhibitors will have access to the virtual event platform on January 12, 2021.

What types of content can I upload in my virtual exhibit space?

Do I need to have videos and photos in my virtual exhibit space.

Each exhibitor can choose how much or how little they wish to have in their virtual exhibit space.  Complete information is available here.

When do I have to have my booth content completed?

Booth content and information must be completed by March 15, 2021.
